The New York Times recently posted an article touring gardens around Philadelphia in Escapes. Obviously, it is well worth the trip. Even better, though, is the website of the Greater Philadelphia Gardens, a collaborative endeavor of over 30 different Gardens in the Philadelphia area.
German Cultural Garden 2009 Report
The German Cultural Garden continued to experience improvements primarily in the Goethe-Schiller Square. Working hours: 174 by our volunteer of which 136 were done by the Kopp Family. Plating was done in the fall for perennials; about $200.00 for Cultured Day Lillis and Hostesses.
