A K-12 Educator’s Perspective on the Gardens

Teaching United States History through the Cleveland Cultural Gardens is not only possible, there is much to recommend it. In the summer of 2005 a group of 30 teachers in Northeastern Ohio developed and explored approaches to teaching the cultural gardens. Their specific lesson plans can be found at the CSU History Department’s Social Studies & History Portal.
