Cleveland Cultural Gardens

The City of Cleveland has announced the provision for on street parking along MLK Jr. Drive in the Cultural Gardens area, as well as in Rockefeller Park, in general.  Approximately 100 spaces, on the west side of the road, will be created through pavement striping once the existing pavement is replaced.  The location of the parking spaces will be in the areas of the roadway which are the widest along the route.  Work begins in June, 2012 with the roadway replaced in thirds; eastern third of the roadway first, followed by western third and then, finally, the center third.  Traffic flow will be impeded but not shut off at any time in both directions.  Coinciding with this work will be the establishment of water valves for those Cultural Gardens not currently connected to the water supply in the park:  Armenian, Azerbaijani, Romanian and Serbian.
