Walk & Roll and Celebrate the Gardens
8/24/2008 12:00:00 AM
On August 24th, Walk+Roll event will close MLK Drive to cars and turn it over to walkers and bikers from 11AM to 6PM. This is a fun event with entertainers and musicians performing throughout the park. Also, the Hungarian community plans on re-dedicating the Hungarian Garden to celebrate their 60th anniversary. This event is scheduled from 2PM to 4PM, and will include musical performances and dancing. Not far away on MLK Drive is the newly refurbished Bruot Gate, part of the British Garden. This structure will be rededicated at 4:30PM. Come see the new landscaping at the gate provided by the Cleveland Garden Club. And if you did not have enough reason to come down to the gardens yet, the Italian Garden will present an encore opera performance at the upper level of the Garden. All this is taking place on Sunday, August 24.
