Original Virgil bust replaced in 2008 with a replica, in granite, of the original bust. Virgil (actual name: Publius Vergilius Maro) 70-19 BCE. One of the greatest Roman classical poets, writing Aeneid, Ecologues, and Georgics Sits on top of a pillar from Rome’s Forum; a gift from the Italian government and the original pillar.
